Like Christianity, conceptualized, literally just crumbles to the floor.
And I've noticed that we became almost, and this is me just looking as a leader of the condition of the sheep, we have entertained people
so much entertainment we've entertained so many spaces that talk about topics surrounding and again these aren't bad topics i'm just saying that if we're lacking the foundational aspects it drops a vein like we want to hear things about secular music and celebrities and dating and uh all these things that are important and we should talk about these things and simultaneously
if they lack the foundational revelation of crucified and Him crucified, we will miss everything.
And I've noticed that, especially in our generation, Gen Z, which is the generation that I pivotally reach the most, we need a fresh revelation of Christ and Christ crucified.
And if we don't peel our eyes to Christ Jesus, we are going to run in a lane that's not ours.
And we're going to be running and searching for a different prize, thinking that it's Jesus when it's not actually Him.
And so the tone of this podcast is...
I'm moving the mic a bit closer.
We're not playing about Jesus this season.
We are not disrespecting him and we are not going to prostitute his name.
He is not going to be used as a pawn for an agenda or for a stance.
I'm done with all this.
Like, I feel like that was really the tone and the I guess kind of like this.
righteous, I hate the word feeling, I guess conviction that I was having is like, the last thing we're gonna do on this podcast is disrespect God and play him in his face like that.
Like we are gonna preach Christ and him crucified and we're gonna exalt Jesus for who he is and not for a secret agenda.
Like Christ has been crucified because God is getting all the glory through his son and so we can live in eternity with him and there was a purpose and there was a job up to us to make disciples of all nations.
And this is just propelling that.
I'm excited for the season.
