I see the people with the bios and the TikToks and in the Instagrams.
And they're like, Christ is my savior.
And it's like, then you don't live a life that's for Christ.
Like it's popular and it's trendy.
You're watching all the Christian influencers, me included.
And yet we're living a life that's not for Jesus, just for the image of Christian life.
And you want to know what?
Like, I'm just not playing that.
Like the Christian walk isn't something to be mocked or aesthetic and get me.
I'm not against a good Instagram picture, but I am against prostituting the name of Jesus to put on an image that is not actually true.
And when we forget Christ crucified and we wear him around our neck as
as an aesthetic rather than an actual crucifixion, that this is a bloody death, that this is an aesthetic picture, that this is the Christian lifestyle where we will bleed, where we need to cry out, where we drink a cup of suffering.
This is the Christian walk that is not easy.
It's not just like cute little dainty necklace.
What are we talking about?
And Christ crucified is everything.
It's the center of our faith.
It's the epitome of what we believe.
