Like, dang, that was a quick turnaround.
And basically Cain was jealous of his brother.
And he had killed Abel.
And it said that Abel's blood had cried out from the ground.
And it was a very devastating story.
So when it says that Jesus' sprinkled blood speaks a better word than the blood of Abel, it speaks over every generational curse, every worst thing that could happen to you, any sin, any indebtedness.
Christ's blood speaks a better word and it redeems, it redeems, it fully redeems over every sin, no matter the moral depth, over every generational occurrence, over every instance, circumstance, trial, you name it.
The blood of Jesus speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.
I read this the other day while I was Bible reading.
in the morning and it's Hebrews 9, 11 through 15.
But when Christ appeared as the high priest of the good things that have come, then through the greater and more perfect tent, not made with hands, that is not of this creation, he entered once for all into the holy places, not by means of the blood of goats and calves, but by the means of his own blood, thus securing an eternal redemption.
This is what I was talking about earlier.
That Jesus showed up to God's throne, not with the lamb.
He showed up with himself bloodied.
For the blood of goats and bulls and the sprinkling of a defiled persons with the ashes of a heifer sanctify for the purification of the flesh.
How much more with the blood of Christ who through the eternal spiritual offered himself without blemish to God.
Purify our conscious from dead works to serve the living God.
How much more would the blood of Jesus, who through the eternal spirit offered himself without a blemish to God as unblemished lamb, to what?
