If these polls are correct and Labour hemorrhage councils and council seats in England,
and then get a bad result in Scotland and Wales as well in those national elections.
Internally, the conversation in Labour will turn to, look, we're three years out from the next general election.
We've got to say goodbye to this fella and get someone in.
Whether that's Angela Rayner, Wes Streeting, or indeed Andy Burnham, the mayor of Manchester, getting into politics in Westminster again, is anyone's guest.
For Polanski, he's got a free ride.
I think it's a free hit for him.
Can he build on those numbers?
It will give him more exposure.
And if May 7th goes very well for him at the local elections, I think then we will start people starting a discussion about, OK, let's see, could we do a deal with him?
