The counter-protesters There were about 8 counter-protesters to roughly 25 protesters.

However, at least some initial media outlets tweeted that the protest was swamped by the counter-protesters.

I'm not surprised, because the counter-protesters had a very outsized presence.

For starters, most of them were in elaborate costume.

Fancy suits and crowns, or royal garb.

One had the Swedish chef from The Muppet Show on her back as a giant marionette and was dancing the whole time while feeding mock human flesh to anyone who would take it.

This sounds horrific in text but her vibes were great, she absolutely had the air of someone you'd love to party with.

Next time I'm gonna wear something far more visually interesting.
