this company was started maybe 10 years ago by, uh, Tucker, Tucker Max, um, and Zach Obron, who Tucker was an incredible author and Zach's an incredible operator. And they, they built this up into a great company. I mean, they really pioneered this category.

And I think especially 10 years ago, seeing where publishing was going and that this was the future of it, I think it was absolutely visionary. And, uh, about, uh, a couple of years ago, two, three years ago now, they stepped back and the person who took over that company did not run it at the standard that the founders did, sort of to put it lightly.

He really writes about some of the journeys that the people involved go on in a way that I think is incredibly fascinating. It just makes for an interesting story. But I was an author who got caught up in sort of the the turbulent times that Scribe went through in 2023.
