the Mariners or the Tigers, having adjustability in their lineup, having the ability to just put together just a grinder dirt at bat where you're just like... And that's why I'm interested to see how the Mariners do with Colt Emerson day in and day out.
See if he continues to be the guy... My buddy plays with him or played with him a few days ago in AAA, and he was like, this dude's like Chase Utley.
If that's the case, and I told my buddy, I was like, whoa, like...
Relax, because that's big time.
Chase Utley type of player brings a different type of mindset to a lineup where you see a guy just grinding that bat out.
He's not just going to go swing for the fences 3-1 and hit a rollover or hit a meaningless single to right field.
