And that's, of course, beyond in this path forward where you call for political action, because that's obviously that what we're in the midst of is that it is a politicized issue.
But one quote is, this book is a warning, but it is also a call to arms.
While there is urgency, unlike any we've ever known, there is still agency.
We can still avert disaster if we can understand the nature of the mounting anti-science threat and formulate a strategy to counter it.

Yeah, no, I think, and of course, we're seeing a fair number of trolls on this call, like We Patriot and others who are going into attack mode.
It's pervasive, you know.

One other quote to mention, we fight, you and Michael, for a
livable planet for us, our children and future generations because it's worth fighting for.
And I think what you do in the book towards the closing part and this path forward is you outline what the fight needs to consist of and that we can't give up and how important it is to have the efforts that we can
amount to get back on track.
I mean, we will eventually.
I think both of us are optimistic about that.
We need to be.
But it also takes a lot of action, a lot of effort.
And I hope that the trust in experts, expertise, and science, and facts, evidence, I hope we'll get that restored.
