This is really cool.
I was impressed.
I didn't think it was possible, and I put an apology out to Adam Silver.
I did not think it was possible.
We have mocked him pretty heavily for his –
ideas of trying to spice up the NBA season.
But I, I did, I kind of think he's done it.
Like everybody likes the end season tournament while it's happening when it's not happening.
It's the biggest joke on earth, but you're into it while it's happening.
And then the all-star game, you know, I was like, I'm not even going to watch this goddamn thing.
Like I wasn't upset.
it was great yeah so i i just didn't even think i needed to find it but people were like like what the hell's going on at the all-star game and i was like god damn it that i had to find nefarious ways to watch uh the show so but it was it was good i couldn't believe it i agree one of the best one in years and years you know the finals was a dud just because one team was so much better than the other but i the first three games were really good and it was to the point where
We didn't get a one-hour send-off for Ernie.
Yeah, dude.
I don't know.
Adam Silver might have the spirit of competition inside of him.
Yes.
That was – it was like –
it felt big yeah and it didn't feel like it i think the overarching thing here is that it took itself seriously the whole thing like it wasn't a joke about the nba the whole the all-star game has been a joke about the nba for years and years you're like yeah cool way to highlight all the worst parts about what you guys do like why are you doing this um
But can we talk about the downside, the negative of the elephant in the room?
