There is only one Buddhahood, one awakened state, one ultimate destination.
The true essence of Buddhahood is undivided, empty cognizance, suffused with knowing.
This is also the basic nature of your own mind.
Various types of true enlightenment do not exist.
Only different words with the same meaning.
That is what does it.
Right now our awareness is fragmented.
Whereas the mind of the Buddha is like the oneness of space.
Sentient beings fixate on thoughts.
There is a subject keeping an eye on the object.
There is a more subtle level called watchfulness, which is mere noticing but is also subtly dualistic.
Even subtler than watchfulness is awakeness.
That is not so.
By effortful mindfulness, one is led to the effortless.
When you become accustomed there is only undistracted Rigpa.
In this context, there is no duality.
In the essence itself, there is no waxing or waning.
Both confusion and liberation occur in the expression.
Nothing remains on it.
One is able to understand that they are harmless, just like the play of children.
