But when he flashes that, he is one of the very best in the world at doing that.
And as much as those plays don't come up a ton, they are extremely fun to watch.
And Blue Jays fans have been lucky with the way they've seen right fielders who feature those big arms in the past.
You know, Jose Bautista made some pretty incredible,
throws out there.
Jesse Barfield, famous for his arm.
We don't have all the stack-ass for everyone who's ever been out there, but it's one of the more fun plays in baseball, watching an outfielder with an elite arm really let it rip, and the speed, the accuracy, it was all there, and at that moment in the ballgame, it felt critical, even though it feels silly now to say that in a 14-1 ballgame, but when that happened, it was an electric moment.
That sounds right to me.
It's also very plausible to me that Billy Butner would get thrown out of first base on a ball to right field, but I believe that is correct.
It's not going to happen by just them getting healthier and them playing well and them having generally a solid record.

Because you've got a sizable gap right now, and those are quality teams.
It's hard to say, okay, from middle of May here on, we're going to be eight games better than the Yankees just playing other teams.
the Yankees are probably going to set a fairly high standard there so I think you know fans who are keyed in on them winning the division which at this point is going to be difficult it's really about can you not just beat but handily beat the Yankees when you have the opportunity can you do the same to the Rays because that's how you pull this thing back quickly it's going to be exceptionally hard to do if they drop games to those teams or even kind of stalemate them
And we saw him do it in the playoffs as well.
Because he's a player who almost never walks and almost never strikes out, he's got a chance to put up a ton of hits.
The ball is always in play.
So there'll be these moments where he can go on a tear
