One is the motion offense when Stephen Curry's out there, and it changes how you're defending them from a shot clock perspective.
You are looking at...
When Steph is on the floor, it takes a while to get that motion going, right?
He's got to set his person up.
He's got to come off the screen.
Draymond's got to find him.
Other actions have to happen to distract the defenders on the weak side.
It's a whole thing.
When Jimmy Butler's on the floor, and he's with that second unit particularly, or with Steph not on the floor, he goes into the post or he goes into the corner.
gets the ball clear out.
And maybe you're getting a shot a little bit sooner in the shot clock, but now it's like, it's a different defensive scheme because you're now everyone else is in help and figuring out what do we want to do?
Do we want to double down or we just want to let that person go one-on-one.
So that's fine.
That's fine.
If you're getting production out of both styles and everyone's on the same page, and as of late, in these wins that the Warriors have had, you've seen that, where people are coming off the bench and they're fitting and slotting into both styles well.
Issue is, and we're going to see this on display for the Warriors against the Knicks,
does it work against these above-high 500 teams?
Because the Cox came in there and looked like all-stars against the Warriors.
And it was a good defense.
That's what it was.
