That drive goes out on my birthday because it's, like, three days after my dad's birthday.
Over, like, a week or so, I raise $30,000.
Oh.
from people's Venmos.
And I had also gotten like $10,000 from when my dad died.
With that money, I am able to get out of debt, start electrolysis, get a new living situation, and start to like get some clothes and some other things.
My whole life is starting to turn around.
Also, coincidentally, during this time, I also helped write the music for the Purple M&M.
Iconic.
I know, I know.
So, like, that commercial gets released, and it's right at the time that I, like, get this interview for this other copywriting job.
I book my first, like, adult job.
That's not, like, a service job, right?
So suddenly, I have this Venmo nest egg, pay off my debts, have an amazing living situation.
Like, I love my new roommates.
Aww.
I'm like continuing my transition at a pace.
Oh, and also my solo show got into New York Comedy Festival.
So like all this stuff.
And now I have like my first job and I'm like, wait, I'm going to be okay.
