I don't think he's calling the entire thing a hoax, but it is terrible messaging and wording because it just makes you seem like you are trying to cover up for Epstein.

We released 50,000 pages of documents that happened earlier this year that at the time people thought was a big story.

However, and ended up causing a big backlash because the 50,000 documents that were released

were almost entirely all already in the public record.

There was no new information there.

They made all this big hubbub.

They had influencers show up.

I don't know if you remember that, all these Republican influencers, and they were given, like, the Epstein files in, like, a binder, and then they looked through it.
