And there's a possibility the Giants do that.
What you have to remember, and why I think ultimately a trade is coming in either the first or second round, is the Giants do not have a third-round pick this year due to the Jackson Dart trade of last year.
So once they pick high in the second round, they don't come back on that clock and get to the fourth.
And I think they have three six-rounders this year.
I don't think the Giants want to operate that way.
So if they can get a trade back in the first and they go, maybe we get an extra first plus swap, that's one thing.
Or pay more attention to that high second round pick.
because when the draft closes on that Thursday night, every year to a tee, those teams picking in those top three spots or so in that second round, there is almost always movement because you have a full day for teams to kind of reassess their board and go, man, this guy fell out of the first round.
I'd really like this.
I think the Giants are going to end up ultimately moving, and that's what he's talking about, that top-end second-round pick, slotting back a couple spots and maybe taking somebody's third-round pick for them to recalibrate their draft capital.
Right, just to get a more balanced draft.
I think that's where that's going.
I don't know how you feel about the whole trade option scenario.
Thanks, Max.
First of all, thank you for listening.

Yeah, a lot of hotel-generated podcasts.
Yeah, you're explaining my worst fear about this Giants offense.
