Let you come to your own conclusions, because I feel like whether you've played sport or not or what kind of background you have, you're going to have a different answer as to would you put your hand up and take a penalty for Ireland?
Let us know.
Here and we're going to start with performance psychology coach Rob Kelly.
It is a week to the day since Ireland lost on penalties to Czechia that kind of dashed our World Cup dreams.
So this episode is all about exploring the psychology behind penalties, the psychology of elite athletes.
And we are delighted to be joined on the line by Rob Kelly, who is a performance psychology coach.
Rob, how are you?
No problem at all.
Now, I want to get right into it.
And I'm going to ask you to explain, how does your work differ from perhaps other sports psychologists?
Because I was looking through your website, looking through your work, and you seem to be a bit more unique in the way that you tackle sports psychology.
And sorry, continue if I'm interrupting you.
You're talking to the wrong person.
I hate horror movies, the goosebumps and you'd start getting... Yeah, exactly, exactly.
Because I was looking through kind of the teams that you've worked with or the people that you've worked with throughout the years.
I mean, Connacht and Irish Rugby, Elite and Amateur Golf, County and Club GAA, many more.
And when I look at this Irish team that played last week,
You have players like Troy Parrish, who played in the Premier League, who are now playing in the top level of the Dutch League.
Then you have players maybe who are playing in the Championship or League One.
There's a lot of different levels within that one team, and there's a lot of different levels that you've worked with throughout your career.
