So me and Rachel spent all of today chatting to different sports psychologists.
It's been a week now since the penalty shootout defeat to Czechia.
It's all kind of every pundit's been talking about it all week from kind of player point of views.
We wanted to get the psychologist point of view.
Have you worked with one before?
What do you think the merits of working with a sports psychologist is for a penalty shootout as important as that was?
And would you subscribe at all to the... I hate when I see players doing this, and I know that I've never played high-level football, but you know when you see players stutter or run up and they're stopping and they're starting and they're... I don't like any of that.
I think you're playing a risky game when it's already kind of a risky situation you're in.
Why do you think players do that?
Because Rob Kelly, who was the sports psychologist that I was talking to today, what he works with is kind of teaching players to... You have made up your mind when you're already still at the kind of halfway line.
You know exactly what you're doing and you're going to walk up to that ball and you know in your head, I'm putting it in the bottom right or whatever.
