If it is a person, why isn't it just speaking to them normally?

And if it's an imaginary friend, again, why are they conjuring up sort of speech impediments or problems?

It's just really, really bizarre.

Why does it scare us?

The reason why it feels unsettling is because there's no framework to put it in.

As humans, we have to categorise everything.

I have to be able to say that's a ghost and a ghost was once a living person who's now dead.

It's an alien.

It comes from a different planet, etc.

There's nothing when I point here.

So the first thing that's odd is that if we are making an assumption that this was a person, perhaps, and that for whatever reason they were dressed up, whether that was sort of malicious or not, then it doesn't explain things like having missing fingers.

The height is obviously not impossible, but is unusual.

But then it does do very strange things that make it seem like it can't be a person.

And beyond just the figure itself, it's also the hut that it lives in appears to defy physics, basically.

You know, it's a very strange space.

It is.

It's got an upstairs, it's got a downstairs.

It doesn't make a lot of sense.
