And if we're going to talk about strange weather phenomena, then I feel that we also have to talk about the land, the area in general, because this area, the White Mountains, has got hundreds of years of folklore.

It belongs to the Abenaki people.

So the Abenaki people in particular had this belief in what they would call sky spirits, essentially, that create strange lights in the skies.

And when people go to this area, they tend to disappear.

And when they come back, they've got altered memories and they've also got lost time.

Now, to them, it's an aspect of folklore.

It's an aspect of connecting with a deity or with another realm.

To us, that sounds an awful lot like a UFO abduction.

The White Mountains are an 11, so they're actually part of the Appalachian Mountains, which are considered to be, you know, bar for bar, the most haunted and supernaturally dense mountain range in all of America.

From one end of the country to the other, it's nothing but monsters, cryptids, UFOs and ghost stories all day long.

No, absolutely.

And I know that seems like a typically American response.

But remember that this is an interracial couple traveling through the night in America.
