Yeah, I can hear his voice in my mind.

He spoke to me once outside my head, but that only happened once in my life.

What was that like?

I had been, so I got back to New York City after this conversion and this priest became my spiritual director.

And he said, I want you to start praying every day if the Lord wants you to do something different with your life.

So every day I would just pray, Lord, if you want me to do something different with my life, please tell me and I'm open to it.

And this went on for 18 months.

And so finally, on November 5th of 2000, I just went up to receive communion.

It was early in the morning.

There was really no people around me.

And I sat down in my pew, and I heard a voice audibly say, come follow me.

And I turned around.

There's nobody there.

And I was like, oh, it's you.

It's been 18 months.
