He's convicted of a string of sex offenses more than a decade ago.

He was sentenced to 15 years in jail.

He was in the neighboring parish to mine when I was a kid.

This goes back to when I was a kid.

I have friends who were altar boys in this guy's parish when they were in the choir.

And they mentioned that what he would do was he would invite the kids in the neighborhood.

And I remember that neighborhood.

It was, you know, the parish was in the middle of a neighborhood.

It wasn't like out on the highway or anything.

And kids would be playing around there.

Back then, in those days, you know, kids were free.

And they weren't all kept inside.

And he would catch them.

For 20 years he was pastor.

I think around 20 years in this parish.

Anyway, they ended up finally getting him out.
