He's despondent about his plight, none of which he can control, right?
And so Lady Philosophy has to recenter everything on โ
What matters isn't what can be taken away from you because you really didn't acquire that on your own to begin with.
What matters is that there are these virtues that have to remain kind of constant regardless of the fluctuations of life.
And kind of a similar thing is going on here.
You have to look to the ultimate end to those things that can't be taken away from you in order to make it through these variables.

Eliot streak alive.

the Purgatorio we did Ash Wednesday.
And so I think I'll have to go with the little getting, which is the last of the four quartets.
But, uh, there is this kind of heavenly ascent in, in the poem as, as you go through its movements, beginning with the Eucharist, I think, um, in, in the first movement, you know, um, he says it doesn't really matter, uh, which route you take, but when you get here, you're not to do anything.
You're not, uh, you're not, um, uh,
here to be curious or to instruct yourself, but you're here for prayer.
And so he says here, the intersection of the timeless moment is England and nowhere, never and always.
anticipating, I think, that kind of final end that we experience just a little piece of when we participate in the Eucharist.
And, of course, as the poem moves forward, he begins repeating that great Julian of Norwich prayer, all shall be well, all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well, which is so beautiful.
And that's really how it ends, just that last verse.
