It's just the reproductive part of women's bodies and that's it.
Whereas we know it's not that.
You say that testosterone is the most misunderstood hormone.
Going back to something you said a moment ago, something just sparked in my head.
If you are a woman who has an inkling that, you know, your hormones are changing, but you are on anti-anxiety medication, antidepressants, etc.
Can you take hormones in the same way?
Okay, so that's a really good thing to clear up.
Because I think, again, some people are completely put off because someone has once said it to them.
Yeah, absolutely.
There's also a terrifying fact in your book.
You say that the suicide rates for women are the highest since 1994 in the age bracket 40 to 59, which as we know, it's quite clearly the hormonal change, perimenopause, menopause era of a woman's life.
But there is little, if any, correlation to hormones when we look at how the medical world are viewing those really scary, very real suicide rates.
How do you feel about that?
Well, of course.
If women out there feel like there's something up and they've done nothing about it, what would your one bit of advice be?
Yeah, that's me.
Yeah, there you go.
That's me.
Now, obviously, many people out there will be in a heterosexual partnership and their partner will not have a fucking clue about any of this, will have checked out.
This conversation weirdly seems to actually deter men completely or they just think, oh, God, time of the month, hormones, all the usual stuff that we're fed.
