Because cold fusion was devoted to find the energy using resonance.
How it works called fusion?
We have two atoms of hydrogen.
We start putting together these two atoms.
But while we put together these two atoms, there are the atomic forces that tend to, no, I don't want to stay with the other atom.
But then there is a limit that the atoms fuse together and they are transformed in helium plus energy because of the mass difference.
And so you can do energy by fusion.
This is fusion, not cold fusion.
So you can have a fusion by forcing together
The atoms, they don't want to stay together.
So they force, force together.
And that is hot, yes, that is hot fusion.
Cold fusion, you convince the two atoms to stay together naturally.
You have to find a third material that convinces the two atoms to stay together.
