That's going to be a big push.
That's a complicated measure.
It's my understanding they're determined to do that in the budget.
This budget, you had this week then two things announced around changing certain social welfare payments.
The report that was published by the Department of Social Protection, that would be within the lifetime of the government.
And as you say, yeah, and the energy thing as well is, are credits going to be enough?
Yeah.
Right.
Because firstly, the opposition will hammer them over whatever they do, probably.
And where does that spill into the likes of, say, the fuel allowance?
Right.
Where does that go?

And I think as well, something that will probably become a big story later in the year is defence spending.
Because Pascal Donoghue was, it's my understanding at least, reticent, reluctant to increase defence spending massively because he always wanted to stay within the parameters that were set from year end to year end.
Are we going to be able to stay the same with this finance minister?
You can now spend more on defence and not fall foul of budgetary rules.
It's not just Simon Harris in that department.
It is the narrative emerging that has been emerging.
Yeah, I think we were probably talking about this before on here, Fionnuala, where it felt like there was a little bit of an early spark with Gerard Hutch and then everything kind of went a bit flat, right?
