Because I don't think John Harbaugh is going to

Make a quick decision on where he wants to go after 18 years of being in the same spot.

And I'm pretty sure at the start of this year had no inkling that he was going to be on his way out by the end of this year.

So I think that he's going to take his time, cast a wide.

net you know he's got a lot of suitors you have teams that had head coaches now are are you know firing head coaches to be in the mix that's a lot of pressure and a lot of bombardment and a lot of stuff to consider and i don't think that he's going to make a rash decision anyway so i think that this is the kind of thing that media salivates it over and gets us to salivate over and we really don't need to because i don't think that anything is going to happen fast so yeah

I've been hands off for a little while now.

If there weren't actual playoff games going on, I don't think I would be on Twitter more than like 20 minutes a day for the last couple of days.

I think the Chris Mara thing is probably the most interesting because it relates directly to the Giants' ownership and what we've been talking about for the last couple months in terms of John Mara's health, Joe Shane's role in the head coaching search, and what's going on in the building.

Yeah.

So, I mean, you know, I don't want to speculate too much, but the fact that Chris Mara is out flying around and going places, I mean, indicates that he's heavily involved in this, which apparently is the first thing he's ever been heavily involved in with the team, despite his title.

So, you know, I mean, that's definitely something worth noting as we hear more and more news about the entire head coach search process outside of John Harbaugh, John Harbaugh.

Yeah, I mean, I have no problem with this being like a really wide net.

I think that some of the candidates that I was lukewarm on before I did the research on them, I've warmed up to a little bit.

But given that, there's some names that I would have liked to see on there.

Jeff Halfley being one of them.

I'd like to see that, you know, even for some of the names that are on here, I wouldn't hate Mike McDaniel even, even though I'm really not

I don't think it's very likely that I would hire Mike McDaniel or anything like that.

I can't even picture Mike McDaniel standing for a photo op with John Mara, to be honest with you.

But, again, for some of the names that are on this list, I mean, I'd rather interview Mike McDaniel and at least just get him and hear what he has to say.
