Jesus saying, whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him will the Son of Man also be ashamed when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels. And this is remarkable because this debate over who the greatest is comes immediately. Literally comes one verse after Jesus says, the son of man will be delivered into the hands of men and they will kill him. And when he is killed after three days, he will rise. The very next verse, verse 33 of chapter nine says, Jesus asks them, what were you discussing?
