The women in our lives have all been affected by the laundries and the culture over here against women. Because I think at the end of the day, women were punished for being women. And there's just so much hurt and pain. And it's still such a taboo topic to be discussed. And when I've talked to anybody who... has been affected by the same themes of the laundries, they blame themselves.

And it's hard for that to go away, especially when it was so recent. I think that if we're being honest, it wasn't a giant secret. And I don't think it's time for us to move on from it. I think having the spotlight on it for longer and talking about it is really important.
