I don't know how the future goes.

Sorry, I'm not a better projector of the future.

But libraries are kind of inherently conservative, you know, like we're a library.

We want to protect the thing and we want it to last.

That's our main goal for the AO3 is that we preserve these stories and that they last for, you know, your grandchildren can go and read the fic you wrote when you were in high school.

I know a bunch of people are shuddering right now, like, oh, no.

But like, that's what we want.
