Until now, the U.S.

has focused on strikes on boats it claims are trafficking drugs and some oil tankers.

But both of those operations have been taking place in international waters.

So this is a really big deal to strike on land.

official confirmed to NPR's Tom Bowman that the CIA struck the dock.

That phase includes the disarmament of Hamas, which of course they've been resisting.

It also means reconstruction and establishing a new governing structure.

But the so-called ceasefire has really been rocky, with violence breaking out between Israeli defense forces and Gaza militants.

Hundreds of Palestinians have been killed as a result, many of them children, according to health officials.

Also, while almost all of the hostages have been released, one final hostage has not been returned.

With the Prime Minister by his side, President Trump said that he hopes to reach phase two of the Gaza plan very quickly.

That phase includes the disarmament of Hamas, starting reconstruction of Gaza, and establishing a new governing structure.
