They had too many injuries.
But, you know, this expected goals thing is funny because some people just hate hearing the word expected goals.
All it is, is it's telling us who's carrying the play and who's getting the majority of the, of the chances and the hurricanes and the golden Knights are the two best teams, you know, since the Olympics.
So it's no surprise really that they're going or potentially we'll see like the series is not over yet.
I shouldn't talk like it's over yet, but it feels like it's headed that way.
And yeah,
Colorado was in there as well, but it's just all these analytics do is tell us the story.
We don't have to have these great big predictions and make brash decisions or rash decisions because of it.
It's just telling us the story and we consume the knowledge and we go from there.
The strategy for Montreal, for me, hasn't changed, I think, and that's part of it.
The part of it is the strategy hasn't changed.
Because keep in mind, throughout the course of the regular season, Montreal doesn't generate a lot of shots on net.
It's just, it's not something they're interested in doing.
They want to prioritize quality chances over quantity of chances.
And sometimes that means you're hanging on to the puck a little bit longer because you don't want to waste an opportunity.
