I think it's crazy how McDavid has come into this tournament and said, everything that you thought I was, I'm actually a little bit more.

But that's the crazy thing right now, Hayes, about the way McDavid is getting deployed is he doesn't have to play 25.

So the 18 or 17 minutes that he is playing, it's just he's so fresh and he's so ready to go.

He doesn't have to pace himself at any point in this game.

It's as soon as he gets on the ice, it's full throttle, you roll your lines, and he's back on, and he's, like, raring to go on the ice, which is different than what he does in Edmonton.

I mean, he still puts together quality shifts, clearly, but, man, it's like every single time he's on the ice.
