It's hard for them to break the pressure.
They don't have a lot of that second and third effort.
That's a big deal when you play against Carolina.
Those, you know, getting second players into battles for support quicker than Carolina does.
They're not doing those things right now.
And that leads me to believe that the fatigue has to be setting in for this team.
Him taking the blame the way that he did, that just goes to show you how...
how much of a higher level he thinks he can get to, right?
Like if, if you weren't going to do that, you were basically going to say, this is what I got.
And that's, I'm okay with that.
That like, that's his way of saying like, I know I'm capable of bouncing back and doing more.
And cause he's done it.
Like we've seen it a lot.
So I got so much time for the way he approaches basically everything.
Like he's, he's such a, he's such a difference maker because he wants to be, and he's,
He's one of the most competitive people in the NHL, full stop.
You know, as far as his play in the series and where he's playing in the lineup, I look at this a couple different ways.
The fact that Montreal has gotten to this point, we've learned something about this group mentally, that they are mentally strong and they're resilient and they don't give up and they're going to persevere through a lot of different things that come their way.
But at some point, you got to learn what more do you need?
And this is the series against Carolina where you get exposed.
