Because if San Antonio had beaten Denver, the Lakers move into three, and then that would set up a second round series with the Lakers.

It's weird.

San Antonio could have manipulated that by winning

and set up a better scenario for themselves in the second round.

I mean, you tell me, as things sit right now, who would you rather play in the second round, the Lakers or the Denver Nuggets?

It's not even a contest.

So why didn't they do that?

How about if you're Denver now?

I mean, either way, it's a tough road.

But now they got to go Minnesota, beat them,

chances are you'll have to play San Antonio the next round.

And if you win that, chances are you'd play Oklahoma City.

So how about having to beat Minnesota, San Antonio, and Oklahoma City just for the right to play for a championship?

How about those three series if you're Denver?
