There might be one defender in the league who can honestly do that. If you're going to say that Jonathan Isaac just couldn't do it from a Nets perspective because he doesn't start... Dyson Daniels is such a pest on the ball. But off-ball defense is harder to see. Takes more of a trained eye. And it's much more nuanced. And there are no good stats for it. There are just none. Like you could have defensive player of the year that goes to the best defensive player and you can go to perimeter defender of the year the same way how you have an MVP in baseball that goes to the most valuable player no matter position.
