Thank you for having me, David.
So basically, so I'm a consumer psychologist, right?
And so I like to tell people that I study what and how people are being irrational and how do we help them make better decisions.
And that really came from me.
I just love people watching, right?
So I used to work in retail a lot.
And as a sales rep, I used to just like love people navigating, you know, the marketplace, consumption environments.
And really this came about because, I mean, when I go to concerts, I, I mean, I did this research, but I myself pull out my phone and start taking videos and photos.
I'm not, I'm not above, I'm definitely not above any of this.
Oh,
But, you know, there's a lot of research in my field that's shown that taking photos and videos during concerts and, you know, these live consumption experiences can actually improve enjoyment of the experience and can actually improve memory.
Right.
So because you're fixating on that moment, you have to figure out what you want to document.
And so I can actually create all these positive downstream consequences for the documenter, right, for the person taking the videos and the photos.
But as a people watcher, I'm like, that can't be the whole story, right?
I mean, we've all seen these people just go to town, right?
Watching the whole concert through their phone.
And I was like, that just, it seems kind of lame, right?
Why would you even do that, right?
You just stay home, right?
