And as we come down the hill here of this bypass, there's a wetland up here which was preserved when the bypass was put in.

It's a scientific wetland reserve which you can pull up into and check out some native geckos.

No, pukeko are really not that nice, but it's kind of more your newts.

and whatnot.

So you can pull off in there.

Again, once a great dogging opportunity here.

We can see a gentleman here in the truck who's having a hoon here just in that little lay-by.

That's rocking, isn't it?

And it's also nice and a little shrubbery there to protect yourself.

You can go for a little walk through the wetland there.
