300 and something steps, isn't it?
It's a very, very steep climb up to the top.
So he'd obviously always had this thing in his head that he wanted to propose at the top of the Wallace Monument.
And this is pre-phones, right?
Well, pre as having cameras on phones, certainly.
And so he had a camera because we have a picture of me in tears at the top of the Wallace Monument, which was taken by some Japanese tourists who were up there as well.
So they captured the moment?
Oh, that's quite special, isn't it?
I'm kind of sat with him and I've just got like red eyes.
I've obviously been crying.
So yeah, so that whole kind of area is very, very important to me.
And it's where you're down in London today.
We're in the heart of Soho, but you can't wait to get home.
Is that where the inspiration tends to come?
Or can you write a poem on the underground?
I can write a poem anywhere.
