Well, here's the thing about Bodie.

He got a couple starts this year.

That was in about late March.

He was a starter at Kirkwood Community College where he spent a couple years before coming here to Kansas.

So he's got experience.

He threw up to about 90 pitches this season.

So like you said, he's got something of a rubber arm.

So I would not be surprised if he got used two, three games in a row.

But if he's not an option or if you want to keep him a little extra fresh for

Ryan Ritter, I believe, leads the entire conference, at least as far as the Big 12 is concerned, in appearances out of the bullpen.

In fact, he's totaled enough innings that he's on the leaderboards with the starters.

So if you didn't know who he was and you were looking at the leaderboards, you'd say, man, that guy's a weekend starter.

He's not.

He just comes out of the bullpen.

They use him a ton.

And a lot of it is multi-inning work.

So what I would expect to see is Ritter first out of the pen.

And if he looks good, they'll just let it ride with Ryan Ritter.

The thing about him, though, is he's either on or he's off.

And he's on a lot more than he's off.
