But you're playing Qatar, and they're weak.
Like, they are really poor.
That is 100% a must-win game.
Like, Canada should go away winning that game.
I have no problem saying that.
And then it gives you kind of like that free shot against Switzerland when hopefully some players are a little bit healthier or back up to speed or however you want to phrase that.
And you can give it a real go against the best team in the group.
I think that that's a realistic โ
position like four points to the first two games and then you go out with a free shot knowing that no matter what you're moving on to the next round um but with a chance to potentially upset switzerland and win the group i think that that that's the most realistic path for me um and that being said with with this being the worst worst group of world cup history
yes, it's an opportunity for Canada, but you've got to believe the other teams in the group are thinking the exact same thing about Canada.
Oh, for sure, for sure.
It's understandable right now, so it kind of goes both ways.
But I think it's fair.
There's no way that Canada should not get out of this group.
It's a home World Cup.
They're still strong enough.
There's still some good players as part of the mix.
It's just how high those aspirations might be based upon the current โ
I just think it's too early to tell how good this team might actually be.
