And we are gathered here today to talk about the new proposals that DHS has to detain people in literal warehouses, right?

If people aren't familiar, maybe you could start out by explaining what those proposals are and how they specifically relate to the areas where you're organizing in Atlanta.

Sure, so around December of 2025, a journalist leaked a list of about 20 different cities across the country where ICE was intending to open new detention facilities in warehouses specifically.

And this list contained the names of the cities,

and the expected or projected occupancy of each of these facilities.
