So he himself went through a seven-year journey starting and running YC.

Then Sam Altman of OpenAI fame also came up through the first YC batch in 2005.

Paul famously wrote an essay about him.

He made a list of five top founders of our generation and he put Sam on that list when he had not created all the things that he's created since yet.
