So we were second in that championship.

Needed to win Bathurst because that was the first year it was part of the championship.

Needed to win Bathurst to win the championship.

We won Bathurst, but Scaife, who we were battling with,

Had to finish 16th or worse and he finished seventh.

So finished second in that one.

And then 2006 was leading and then I was at dealer team.

They had to split us up.

That's right.

Yeah.

So Rick Kelly and myself, they split us up.

I went to HRT.

I signed a contract to drive HRT for two races and then went back to dealer team.

And the idea was to split us up so that we didn't get both taken out if we're in the same car.

Because this is all before the primary driver, secondary driver stuff.

So I shared the car with Mark and we were leading sand down and the front end fell out of it.

And then we qualified on pole and the clutch failed.

And there was that big one where Perkins Jack cleaned him up going up mountain straight.
