um yeah yeah you just gotta and like he's more than confident to be himself and he didn't care if someone wanted to slag him to his face wanted to slag him on social media he didn't care so it's just having that confidence I think

Yeah, well, I was involved with Nick when he first turned up at Walkinshaw.

So he did Formula Ford, whatever year that was, 2010.

No, 2008, 2009, around there.

And I was sort of probably, he was probably, you know, I've done a fair bit of mentoring over the way.

He was probably the first one that I'd spent any sort of meaningful time with.

And that was...

from his Formula Ford days.

He came from a very similar background to me, didn't have the money to do it himself.

He and his family, they needed help.

Walkinshaws gave them a bit of help and gave them on their way.

So I sort of helped him where I could.

He was like the number three.

He was like the apprentice on my car at HSV dealer team.

So I got to know him.

And then in 2010, he did the Dunlop series race up there and he did a mega job, like a really good job.

I'm like, Ooh, that was impressive.

Like really impressive.
