And I was like, so I was contracted to do at least one more year.

I was contracted to race this year as well.

But I'm like, well, probably not going to get another opportunity like that to just go, you know what?

That's pretty cool.

That's a pretty good way to finish it.

So I spoke with the Groves and they were great.

And that was that.

Yeah, yeah, no, that's true.

And I didn't want the... I mean...

like, um, I didn't want the full victory to a final lap, any of that.

That's not my, that's not me.

Um, but what I did want is in my, when I knew it was going to be my last full-time race, have my parents there, have all the people that were important to me on the way up.

So like the guys that I was involved with the karting, like Brett from Fastlane, um,

personal sponsors that you've had along the way that have been important part of the journey, have all those people there and just put them in a corporate box.

And as I say, the way to say, this was a really cool journey.

Thanks for being part of it.

But I didn't get that opportunity.

That's, that's what I was frustrated and disappointed that I didn't get that chance.

So even going to Bathurst last year, I certainly made sure the kids were there.

My partner, Sian, she was there.
