Right.
What was noticeable that
even in the hotels, like the staff and the women would all be in, you know, you could only ever see their eyes.
They'd all be in their traditional dress or whatever.
So it was for young guys like us going to those parts of the world, an amazing experience, treated really well.
And it was just that it just then changed dramatically then from once you boarded the bus to head into the game.
It was like, OK, they're going to do everything they can to make it difficult for us.
But we were a team at that time that had travelled well, to be perfectly honest.
And we actually did lose that game to the frustration, really frustrating that we'd give away a corner late on or something like that and they won.
But it wasn't enough time for them to chase that equalising goal and we got through.
Yeah, and their goal was kind of, it was out of nowhere, really.
We were quite comfortable for the whole game.
I do remember a couple of chances.
Dave Conny went through.
and he is really good finisher normally, and it just whistled past the post.
But it's moments like that, and it'll be similar to the game now for the lads on Thursday, that when you do get those chances, you've got to take them.
It's so true that, because I think a lot of people kind of say to you like, what was that atmosphere like?
And they might hit the nail on the head because all the kind of drama and the build-up to a game,
even in the warmups or whatever, it's very emotional.
