And Arteta knows that, I'm sure he does, that they have to find the fine margins, whether or not they'll be able to do that with the current players they have, or whether or not they will have to go out now and take advantage of the flux and the transition that their domestic rivals are all in.
Arsenal are in a great position right now to make two or three quality signings that strengthens the starting XI, not thickens up the squad in terms of the ones that have done before,
to really nail down their place as the dominant force in the Premier League and go on then to challenge the likes of PSG in Europe.
Yeah, it's amazing.
And as the clock was ticking down and the minutes were passing by,
it didn't feel that there was any sense of urgency that PSG still believed in their kind of philosophy.
They still believed that they would produce that moment.
And it was noticeable at the start of the second half and from that moment on that the tempo of their build-up play did quicken because that slow build-up play in that first half, it just allowed Arsenal to get back into that really resolute defensive structure, fill the gaps.
And it was hard then to break them down because as much as we say about, you know, kind of the lazy description of parking the bus, to do what they did
as well as they do Arsenal, that takes such a high level of coaching, of ability to kind of negate a team like PSG.
But the reality was is that the likes of Varek Skellier only needs a moment.
He just needs a moment and Mosqueras panicked as he's got inside and he's made a silly challenge and he looked every bit at the centre-back that he was playing right back in that moment.
And then he got back to 1-1 and you just felt, OK, now the pendulum has swung completely to PSG now because of the very fact that
Arsenal lacked that attacking verve.
And we keep referencing that unbelievable game against Bayern Munich.
But there has to be context that Bayern Munich scored so many goals against PSG because their front three is exceptional.
It's Harry Kane, Alisse and Diaz.
Arsenal just do not have that as a front three.
You know, you're playing with a front three that arguably, and finishing the game, apart from Saka, that you're thinking like, these are not Champions League elite level quality forwards that you normally associate with
with the kind of showpiece last game of the season.
