But let me tell you something else.
I don't care.
I don't care about my birthday.
It's just a bloody number.
It doesn't hold a lot of meaning, attraction.
I don't need to celebrate.
I don't need whatever is supposed to go along with it.
My wife...
You know, she tried, well, she didn't try.
She made the day special.
And I'm appreciative of that.
But the flip side is, oh, one anecdote.
Can I give you one anecdote?
Sure, but we got to get to this Valentine's Day thing.
But give me the anecdote.
This is better.
I have a three and a half year old grandson who learned it was my birthday and he needed his daddy to phone me and he wanted to give me one of his monster trucks.
This kid lives for his monster trucks.
Wow.
And he heard it was my birthday and he wanted to give me a monster truck.
