So I understand that they want to look into the dark side of the world and see what's going on.
I find the interest in looking a little bit deeper and seeing what comes out of it.
I've seen the consequences of crime in the most horrible ways.
But
Seeing the people that have come through that world, they're the things that rock my boat too, how people can turn their life around.
Well, I encourage people if they can turn their life around.
And I know what you're saying.
And in the cops, there's a fairly black and white thinking.
We're doing a job.
We're putting the bad guys away.
And then you move on to the next thing.
But I think society, because now I'm a member of society.
I'm not in the cops anymore.
It benefits if people can turn their life around.
Yeah.
Because better off having you healing yourself and contributing back to society, there's still, okay, I'm going to go harder in the world of crime.
Well, I'm a big believer in using life experiences to educate people, whether it's at the juvenile stage, which is probably most important, where you can steer them in the right direction, or whether it's at adult prison.
And you're an example of someone that can turn their life around
when you're at a low point.
You've had the highs of the gangster, the lows of being a junkie, and you're sitting here and doing something worthwhile.
