Me and Adam and Felicia and some of our little group were playing it, and I think it was largely coming out of, like,
Looking for something that could scratch that Warcraft itch.
I'm never going back to Warcraft, but, you know, I played around with other MMOs that are, you know, similar to that.
Looking for, I don't know, looking for like Warcraft methadone, basically.
Like what, you know, what could scratch that itch in the same way, but not be as dangerous to me.
And New World is like, we used to call it the Amazon Basics MMO, because it's not that.
great like the law i i found the law to be in the world building to be really boring um it was all right it was just like it's just it's just all right and it was actually dune awakening was the game that that to me was the first game to scratch that kind of mmo itch yeah that's a really good game i enjoyed that immensely but no out of the gate new world was like i remember they had some they put up some big numbers obviously enough to do it to do it to do the big expansion um but it did not uh

And I think a lot of people were like, Anthem?
We're still going?
You know?
I thought that was dead already.
But it's really, really... And obviously, a lot of these games, you'll notice they kind of taper them down.
They said, like, we're going to stop the... We're going to stop you from putting any more investment into the game.
